Thomas Osborne II (Jr.) of Pasbeheighes
1613-1685
Often referred to in colonial Virginia records as "Thomas, Jr.", it is believed that he came to Virginia sometime shortly after his father. Records show that he was born on September 12, 1613 in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, England. The identity of his wife is not known, but Thomas Osborne did have a son, Thomas Osborne III, who spent his entire life at the Coxendale Plantation. Thomas II was buried in December, 1685 at Henrico Parish Church Cemetery which was eventually abandoned and is now private property directly on the banks of the James river. From an aerial view there is still a clearing in the trees where the cemetery was purported to have been.
